What is Collective Trauma Healing?

Collective Trauma Healing is an integrated approach to group work that supports a falling in love with the entire circle. The aim of this work is for us all to move collectively together into an experience of surrendered love through healing presence.

The more we build safety and loving presence together with one another, the more we begin to experience who we truly are, an enigmatic flow of passion and inspiration. In this work I am holding a deeply safe space for the growth of love in the circle, whatever unfelt feelings or unhealed hurts that exist in the collective field between us will be given to our collective presence, whether they be personal or trans-generational. Through this process we will together expand deeper into the experience of love. Building presence and safety is at the core of this work. Love moves through us in safe spaces. We will together move through any heavy challenging states and out into lightness. Moving from a love that needs something into a love that represents everything we could ever need.

Collective Trauma Healing is an integrated approach to group work born from a collection of diverse therapeutic modalities. In this work we integrate the power of Family Constellations, Somatic Experiencing, Breathwork & Relational Presence, combined with Osho Active Meditations & Ecstatic Dance to aid radical breakthroughs into loving consciousness & flow states. Slowing down, expanding into loving awareness & connecting more deeply to the intelligence of the heart is at the core of this work. We build collective presence with one another, learning how to be with challenging feelings together and moving through multiple layers of trauma, to awaken into the truth of who we are. A big part of working collectively is recognising that everything we feel and experience is part of the collective field. We are feeling and experiencing for one another, from this perspective we can also recognise that we are available to support one another energetically, that no one person has to carry anything alone, we all carry it together. In this sentence is the essence of this work, ‘we carry it together’ and through combining our love we can move through it together and remember who we truly are.

Somatic Experiencing / Trauma Healing

A somatic body-based approach to healing trauma which centralises the body’s innate capacity for self-healing which can be triggered & engaged through the tracking of sensation & an orientation to resources.  Supporting our nervous system to slowly release the accumulated stress from past traumas and return us to a state of wellbeing.  Giving us a greater connection with our own inner resources and an increased capacity to experience pleasure in life without as many difficult triggers and negative trauma related symptoms.

Trauma Informed Breathwork

This aspect of the work combines my experience in both Rebirthing Breathwork & SE/Trauma Healing.  Conscious Connected Breathing is a tool for accessing altered states of consciousness.   Generally Conscious Connected Breathwork activates our innate capacity for self-healing and brings us into powerful healing states of awareness where whatever lies unresolved in our unconscious comes more to the surface of consciousness for feeling, grieving & healing.

Authentically connecting with others, truly seeing them and truly being seen through the eyes of our hearts is a powerful tool for healing and a powerful resource.  How often do we really bring our whole presence and attention into relationship without agenda? Simply giving space for the experience of beauty between humans?  What prevents us from being able to fully experience and delight in the wonderous pleasurable landscapes of this divinely gifted intimacy?  Through presencing one another without words we create a foundation of deep safety in the whole field and from here we can progress deeper into the journey and experience of Collective Trauma Healing.
